Vanessa Joy Humphreys , or Vanessa Joy, as she is professionally known, is the reigning MISS AUSTIN ( U.S ), and MISS DALLAS ( Runner-Up ). She was born in Santa Clara, California and raised in San Angelo, Texas. She moved to San Antonio to study Business, Spanish and Russian at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Shortly after graduation she relocated to Austin to futher pursue a career in acting, modeling and voice. Vanessa Joy, is now setting her sights on the music world. Like Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, and Texas bred Miranda Lambert, this Texas beauty queen is determined to find her place in the commercial country music market. She has inked a deal with the concert promotion firm, Stand-Up International, to handle her touring, marketing and promotions. She has signed its founder / promoter, Lowell Beasley, as her agent/ manager to get her where she is determined to be.Vanessa Joy is a professional model, actress and jingle artist. Having impacted Austin, with a voice as intoxicating as her looks, she has a determination that normally gets her what she goes after.. She has a good start as she is already going to be a regular on all the weekly country concerts at the Cowboys Sports Cafe franchise concert venues. Cowboy's Cafe is a " House of Blues" meets Hard Rock Cafe meets sports bar. These weekly country shows will be telecast nationally , "live" and recorded..and broadcast across Facebook, Google TV network, SUMTV, Cowboys -TV, AND this site. As a model, she will be gracing commercials, ads and billboards nationally for Cowboys Sports Cafes.. As a singer, she will be performing with many of country music's biggest names. Expect to see this dynamo's name atop every list she attempts to , as not accomplishing her goals is not in her vocabulary. Austin is the Texas music capital, and as MISS AUSTIN, she'd like to rule there in music, as well as beauty. Everything comes big in Texas, so expect BIG things to come from this Texas diamond.
